There are some cases where you cannot. If SSID "SWS1day" is displayed, then you can access SoftBank Wi-Fi Spot (EX).

Are there any providers or devices that cannot use this service?

There are no restrictions on what provider your device is with, and as long as it a wireless LAN-compatible device (like a notebook PC, smartphone, tablet PC, iPad, etc.) with IEEE802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi settings, then you can use this service. However, there are some devices (mobile phones, portable gaming devices) that may not work with this service.
In addition, please use a web browser that supports TLS (Transport Layer Security), SHA-2 certificate and JavaScript.

No, you only need to register once. If you wish to use the service again, simply enter your login ID and password when within a service area and you can purchase access again.

I used the service once, but what happens if I don't use it for a long period of time?

If you do not use the service within a 6-month period, your login ID will automatically be deleted. If you wish to use the service afterwards, you will have to register once more.

As long as it's within the 24-hour period, can I use any access point, even if it's not the one I was using when I purchased access?

Yes, as long as you are within your access time, you can use any access point that displays SSID "SWS1day".
